The NTA's Central University Entrance Exam (CUET) is an all-India level entrance exam for admission to UG programmes offered by all participating institutions. The full name of the test was Central Universities Common Entrance Exam or CUCET until 2021, when it was changed by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The exam is held once a year in over 500 places throughout India and abroad. The exam lasts two hours and is administered by computer. Previously, UGC administered CUCET using paper and pencil. Since last year, the NTA has been administering the exam by computer. The NTA issued the CUET UG 2023 application form online on the exam's official website on February 10, and the procedure closed on March 30. The CUET UG 2023 application deadline was originally set for March 12, however it was extended by NTA. Applicants have to fill out the CUET application form online at the exam's official website.
